The SDD louvered cowl hood for the first generation Miatas gives the Miata
even more visual attitude and heat exhausting function.
Copied and imitated but never equaled. Hand laminations
with a coremat insert insure high strength and low weight. The combination
of a cowl hood and the turn signal air intakes has been tested and shown
to exhaust so much air that at 40mph the under-the-hood temperatures are
very close to ambient temperature. Shipped in primer gel and with all
mounting hardware, the hood bolts on to the factory hinges and uses the
factory latch.
